Men's League Information

Ainsdale Golf Course has promoted and supported the Men's League both on the golf course and in the clubhouse for many years.  There are numerous local businesses that also support the league through their very generous donation of weekly prizes. 

The weekly Men's League has been developed at Ainsdale Golf Course to promote regular play as well as the invitation of visitors to Ainsdale Golf Course.  The objectives of the league are to provide an avenue to the great game of golf and an opportunity for regular competitive play.

General Rules of Men's Night

• Play may begin Thursday at Noon.  You may also arrange to play Wednesday PM/ Friday AM without the ability to win the additional sponsor prizes.
  
  
• Scoring is based on 9 holes. Each week the scoring nine rotates from the front to the back.  You must play the men's night nine as your first nine of golf.
  
  
• Golfers must play their round accompanied by at least one other Men's League Member
  
  
• The scoring format used is a modified Stableford System with the field broken down into 4 flights.  The players assigned and adjusted on a weekly basis
  
  0 points double bogey
  1 point for bogey
  2 points for par
  4 points for birdie
  8 points for eagle
  16 points for albatross
  -1  points quadruple bogey or higher
  
  
• Men's League play will use the white tees
  
  
• The general fee is $5 for weekly prizes plus $5 for year end prizes equals $10.  Optional gross skins game by flight is $2.
  
  
• Non members fees are the same as above but add a reduced green fee of $20 for 9 holes or $40.  Guests may play as many times as they wish.  Each Men's League member may bring one guest for Steak Night once during the season.
